Where Are We Going
After the hugely successful adventure in 2005 where Central Australia, 'The Gulf' and then the East Coast were conquered, we have decided that there is another half of this wonderful land that needs to be explored.
This time we are heading up through Central again, but this time getting all the way to Darwin with trips to 'the Rock', 'the Marbles' and Kakadu on the way.
One of the major objectives when in Darwin is to find home ground of the St Mary's Football Club, the home of the 1993 Norm Smith Medallist. The one and only Michael Long. We will acknowledge his contribution to the Mighty Bombers with a kick.
We then head down to Katherine via Litchfield NP before heading west across to Broome, and all places in between.
From Broome, we start to head south towards Perth and onto Margaret River continuing around the coast to Albany and Esperance. Then it's onto the Nullabor for the final part of the journey via Adelaide and Ballarat to home.
All up about 100 days on the road commencing Monday 6th July and concluding on Friday 16th October.
